Festivals & Days Celebration

We believe that kids should be well aware about our rich culture and traditions. And to make this possible, we celebrate all the festivals in school so that from a young age the kids understand the importance of traditions and values. We celebrate festivals of Janmasthmi, Diwali, Ganesh Chatturthi, Diwali, Christmas, Uttrayan , Holi and many more with great fervor . We also celebrate Independence day, Republic day etc. with great enthusiasm.

Annual Day

Annaul day i.e- Talentime is the time for celebration. There is 100 % participation of students, teachers and other staff members and presented with great enthusiasm in front of the invited chief guest and dignitaries. This event is looked forward to by the family of KGIS.

Sports Day

Sports and Academics should go hand in hand for the proper growth and development of the kids. Sports help to not only be physically fit but inculcate the values of team work, hard work, decision making, time management and sportsman’s spirit. We have sport facilities for the following:

Swimming

Yoga

Skating

Table Tennis

Badminton

Music

The school provides excess to Music so that kids not only develop a liking for it for their self esteem and patience level also improves. Along with the singing, the kids also learn to play various instruments like Tablas, Piano, Guitar and many more.

Competitions

We encourage healthy competitions amongst kids so that the kids learn to participate, work hard, learn new skills and be able to win and lose gracefully. We conduct competitions which help kids to sharpen the skills of rhymes, singing, solo dance, mono act, elocution and many more. And what we see from children in the competition is their versatility and their improved self esteem and confidence.

Dance

The fundamentals of various dance forms are taught to students, who have an inclination towards dancing, by qualified dance instructor. They are trained for bollywood dance, salsa, semi classical, brake dance, western, etc., right from the raw stage to perfection by our talented dance teachers.
